Hanakapi'ai Trail | Kauai, HI This is a great hike near near the Napali Coast which takes you to the famed Kalalau Trail. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do the Kalalau Trail this go around but it is definitely on my to do list. Anytime attempting this should at least extend this hike to the Hanakapi'ai Falls. A challenging hike all-in-all but worth the challenge. It was raining the day I did this hike and it's still this beautiful!

Window to Paradise

Lanikai Pillbox | Kailua, Oahu This is a great Oahu staple with some of the best picturesque views on the island. I always make it a point to try to find some unique angles and viewpoints while shooting, especially when views like this. On a mountain ridge with broad sweeping space is beautiful to see in person, but photographing it can be challenging. Natural frames like this are a great way to create a more interesting photo.

Tranquil Coast

Tunnels Beach | Kauai, HI Taking a helicopter tour of the island is a fantastic way to experience Kauai's beauty. Tunnels Beach is known for its reef and some of the best snorkeling on the island. You really get to see the waves wash over it from up above.

Endless Gateway to the Sea

Waimea Pier | Kauai, HI Nights in Kauai are quiet and the skies are dark. Looking out on the ocean towards the end of the pier, it really seems to go on and on.

Aloha Spirit

Waimea Canyon | Kauai, HI Missing Kauai and its colorful mountains. Waimea Canyon is a great place to explore. Great viewpoints at every turn and some challenging hikes as well. Take me back!
