Sólheimasandur | Iceland I was always fascinated by all the pictures of abandoned wrecks, houses, etc. They have great stories behind them. I hadn't realized how accessible this was so we made the early trip out and got it mostly to ourselves. For something that's been photographed so many times I always try to find unique angles to shoot. I also have some fun drone footage.

Kirkjufell | Iceland I must admit I'm part of the 1% that doesn't watch Game of Thrones 😕 But didn't stop me from enjoying this iconic mountain! The sunset was beautiful but blinding. As you cs imagine lots of people fighting for the shot. I actually like the angle of the second shot quite alot from the straight on waterfall shot. Unfortunately, this was one of those where I find myself wishing for a little bit wider lens.

Swamp
South Iceland | Iceland We stumbled across this small stream while moving along the highway traveling between destinations in South Iceland. I managed to catch a glimpse out the corner of my eye and made a mental note to revisit it as we finished up the day. Iceland has more than its fair share of waterfalls but I have to say this was one I enjoyed quite alot shooting. The collection of water and mossy rocks made is interesting to shoot.
Alien
Thorsmork | Iceland Named after the Norse god Thor, this mountain ridge truly looks like you're on another planet. The black volcanic rock really accentuates the bright green of the mountain that is a must see in person.
Glaciers & Green
Thorsmork | Iceland This valley is so unique with a mix of white glaciers, bright green mountains and red, black volcanic rock. I even got the opportunity to hike atop the volcano Eyjafjallajokull which erupted in 2010.
