Brooklyn Bridge Park | Brooklyn, NY This location was one of the first shots I took in NYC when I began this journey in photography. I'd no idea how to capture long exposure or how to properly use filters. Back with new tools and skills, it makes me very excited to see how far I've come with my craft.

Pebble Beach | Brooklyn, NY We've had some incredible sunsets lately here in NYC, and every time the sky is brilliantly painted pink and orange I don't have my camera with me! I finally found some free time to go shoot it and wouldn't you know it no sunset... All was not lost. There was some decent cloud cover and movement so I was able to capture some decent shots. The hunt continues!

Brooklyn Bridge | Brooklyn, NY Sunsets on the Brooklyn side of the city always give you a wide array of colors. This day was a bit more cloudy and somber but still a joy to shoot.

Brooklyn Bridge Park | Brooklyn, NY Exploring Brooklyn Bridge Park never gets old. I find myself finding new views of the city every time I visit. The St. Ann's Warehouse transformation is spectacular and makes you feel as though you're transported to a sanctuary with the Brooklyn Bridge towering over in close watch.

Brooklyn Bridge Park | Brooklyn, NY I love a good picture within a picture shot. This was a lil tricky but a beautiful shot of the Brooklyn Bridge nonetheless. The brick walls around the warehouse are great spot for any shot.

St Ann's Warehouse | Brooklyn, NY Digging through old pics and forgot I took this a while back before they cleaned it off. I personally liked the look on the brick. Graffiti has a long history here in NYC but I guess this didn't fit the look of the updates planned for the area. What do you think? Should they have left it or was cleaning it off the right choice?

DUMBO | Brooklyn, NY The Manhattan Bridge is such an iconic piece of the city. The orange and blue glass color mix of home team Knicks and Mets on the construction behind it the bridge really spoke 'NYC' to me.

Manhattan Bridge | Brooklyn, NY It's always fun to explore the different angles and details of the Manhattan Bridge. With a little bit of fog and the city lights fighting their way through this was a fun one to work on.
Sunset Dash
Brooklyn-Queens Expressway | Brooklyn, NY New York City sunsets come in sorts of forms and colors. Being on the Brooklyn side looking across the river, this was a fun one to play with the car lights along the highway. Enjoy!

Brooklyn Bridge Park | Brooklyn, NY The Tribute In Light is such an iconic part of the 9/11 Memorial. It shines bright like a beacon in the night. As the ceremonies kick off early morning, emotion fills the air as the city and country look back on the historic event. Let us honor those we have lost and take time to reflect. Never Forget.
Wintery Ghost Ship
Intrepid Museum | New York, NY We got hit with, what I can only hope was our last, nor'easter. Not to mention a day after the first day of spring no less. To be fair, the snow was lovely and it was gone from the city as quickly as it came. I really wanted to get one last winter shot in so I drifted up and down the west side. The Intrepid was a great place to shoot and I can't wait for the summer time to come back for movie time on the deck!

High Falls Conservation Area | Hudson, NY High Falls is a great little short hike in Hudson Valley. The Conservation Area is big but you’ll be at these beautiful falls before you know it. The town of Hudson is also a great spot with restaurants, antique stores and other little shops that embodies that upstate NY town feel.
Hometown America
Anthony's Nose | Philipstown, NY A great short, scenic hike in Hudson Valley. I've done this trail a number of times before, but it was special to see someone had posted an American flag waving on a beautiful day.
Falls over the Edge
Kaaterskill Falls | Hunter, NY A popular huge, two-tier waterfall with a hike from the base that is steep but short. The waterfall itself is refreshing and the views looking out from the top are marvelous.
Slush
NY got some good snow so decided to take advantage of it and hit up Hunter Mountain for some snowboarding. On the way back as night began to settle in, I stopped off at the base of the Kaaterskill Falls hike. If you've never been, go! The hike is great and there's a sweet, huge two-tier waterfall waiting as reward. The nice thing too is right off the highway are the Bastion Falls pictured here at the start of the hike to get you warmed up.
